Where "LOVE" is owning a Golden Retriever!

windy_ridges_goldens_07-03-14002009.jpg
Welcome to Windy Ridges Goldens! We are the Drummey Family, Mandy, Dave, Taylor, Hunter and Autumn. We are "owned" by 4 Goldens at the moment.

I was first introduced to this wonderful breed when my husband had brought home Copper for me as a Christmas gift in Dec. 1998. Copper is the love of our lives and that is how it all began. I have researched as much as I could about the breed and still soak in as much as I can everyday. It is a never-ending learning process! Copper was raised with our oldest daughter, Taylor. Copper was 8 weeks old and Taylor was 9 months old. Then 9 months later, Hunter and Autumn were born and Copper enjoyed having new "little ones" to take care of. In the spring of 2001, we decided to add to our Golden clan and came up with the "Windy Ridges" name. So Windy Ridges Stormy Night "Stormy" was our first Golden to carry the new name. She came to us from a breeder in Sussex County, NJ. By putting this website on the web, we are hoping to educate people on responsible dog ownership and to share our wonderful Goldens and family with you. We try to add more and more every chance we get.

We hope that you will find our website useful and informative! Please contact us if you ever have any questions!

We currently show our Goldens in Conformation all "owner-handled" and we also do obedience, but not competively. Our "shows" are very limited, but we try to get out as much as we can. We have been showing locally in NJ and PA.

They will always be beautiful in our eyes, so if we come home ribbon-less, we never come home empty handed. Our Goldens will still come home with us each and everytime and that is all that matters to us!
